A really nice meandering walk, about 35 people attending for a ~4.5 hour walk. An old mystery has been solved. The rubbery mauve slime mold we have puzzled over has been identified as Tubifera magna by Elan Trybuch. Wilton Rao treated us to a lichen workshop using a single cherry tree (near the restrooms) which included the clandestinely stunning (in UV light) Pyxine subcinerea.
