The snow melted enough to squeeze in a fun walk at High Rock Park before the next snow storm. Some of our favorite cold weather mushrooms showed up. Merismodes (probably fasciculata, but you have to scope it to be sure, right?), Myxarium nucleatum, Tectella patellaris. There was a sighting of Angelina rufescens. And a small Xylaria that covered with a tiny spherical slime mold. ~ 10 people on a ~4.5 hr. walk. Temperatures in the high 30s, low 40s.
