A walk in Wolfe's Pond Park, Staten Island. We were joined by crust expert Emma Richter. Aki found Arachnopeziza aurelia, a beautiful orange asco. Elan found a parasitic fungus on an Armadillidiidae (a wood louse) that looks to be Purpureocillium. Emma Richter was delighted to find Elmerina, a pore crust she had introduced us to in her lecture. There is a Cyphelloid, also found by Elan, which looks like it could be Crepidotus pallidus.
