A splendid walk in Forest Park. The rainy summer season continues to provide us with a lot of mushrooms. Today we saw tons of Amanitas, Russulas, boletes. One of our favorite mushrooms, Callistosporium purpureomarginatum (called the purple edged lute on iNat) was out in *relative* abundance. We were joined by members of the Long Island Mycological Club. ~40 people on a ~4.5hr. walk.
