NYMS New Year’s Day 2014 Central Park 40+ mushrooms – despite the absence of some Central Park regulars, like Hydnochaete olivacea and Irpex lacteus, Lenzites betulina, etc. NEW to our Central Park list (though found elsewhere in NYC): Tremella aurantia (on Stereum hirsutum) and Phanerochaete chrysorhiza, plus several unidentified crust fungi and polypores.
