A stormy day. 15 of us show up anyway! Over 90 mushrooms collected and identified at least to genus! A great day for slime molds – A dozen were identified! The great majority, though, are still very small, easily overlooked fungi that we only have on our list because of Vicky and Ethan and Tom and Juniper, etc., etc. Even on a day when our hand lenses fogged up and it was hard to keep dry, we scored big time in Forest Park. We’ll go back next month and try to build on this.
