NYMS Bolete Patrol, Prospect Park, August 4, 2018 Nine intrepid members of the NYMS Bolete Patrol showed up for the walk in Prospect Park, braving excessive heat, humidity, and heavy rains. The morning rains ended by 11:30 and conditions rapidly improved. The hunting was good – the Bolete Patrol turned up 11 boletes – 9 of them new for Prospect. Special thanks to Kat Moon, who’d scouted boletes in the park a few days prior, and pointed us in the right direction…. ~ = found in Prospect Park later in the day by Sigrid Jacob
