About 30 people showed up for a slow-as-molasses walk through Forest Park, Queens. Why so slow? Lots of fungi! The most gilled mushrooms we've seen since early last winter! Some highlights: a fresh fruiting of Abortiporus biennis (welcome back, old friend!!), a gaggle of deformed, sickly Megacollybia rodmanii, and the marvelous asco Coccomyces triangularis - not seen in the park since May 13, 2018! Thanks to all who came out.
