A lovely walk in Long Pond Park, Staten Island. We more or less had the 90+ acres to ourselves. Riita found our local Tolypocladium sp-NY01 parasitizing an Elaphomyces species of deer truffle. I was delighted to find a tiny fruiting of the cyphelloid Resupinatus urceoloides. A ~4 hr. walk attended by ~14 people. Gene and KimNora never connected with the group, but forayed the park on their own.
