Dry conditions, but an otherwise pleasant walk in Manitou Point Preserve. Two of the three Callistosporium spp. that are known to inhabit the park were present today. Although the dry conditions limited what we were able to find, Andrew Cannon identified a number of cool rusts, including one, Uropyxis amorphae, that is quite rare in the east and might be extending its range into New York.
