A nice walk in Wawayanda, where there were not many mushrooms. It had rained quite a lot, but only the night before and after a long dry spell. So not enough time for the mushrooms. There were a few delightful surprises, however. A Gibellula sp.—an entomopathogen on a spider on the underside of a Rhododendron leaf. Winslow (Winslow) found Guepiniopsis buccina looking very hydrated (jellies don't need as much time as other mushrooms to respond to the rain). Sigrid Jakob found a cool little Rutstroemia sp. on a leaf petiole.
